Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Gymbound – Workout Reminder (“Gymbound” or “the app”) for iPhone and Apple Watch, including its widgets, Live Activities, notifications and any in-app purchases, and this website. By downloading or using Gymbound you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Gymbound is licensed to you through Apple's App Store. Your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”) and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA, these Terms apply to the extent permitted.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Gymbound on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, sell or sublicense the app, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

3. Gymbound Pro, subscriptions and payments

Gymbound is free to download. Optional Gymbound Pro features are available through in-app purchase:

Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy and may vary by country and change over time. Taxes may apply.

Auto-renewing subscription terms

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you started one.
• Your subscription renews automatically for another year at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• If you cancel, Pro features remain available until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Free trials are available once per Apple ID to eligible users. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Restoring purchases

If you reinstall Gymbound or use a new device with the same Apple ID, tap Restore Purchases in Settings to unlock Pro again.

4. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple, and we cannot issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and follow Apple's instructions. Refunds are subject to Apple's policies and applicable consumer protection laws.

5. Health and safety

Consult a doctor or qualified professional before starting any exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury or are pregnant. Stop exercising and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. You are solely responsible for your training decisions and for exercising safely. Always pay attention to your surroundings; do not interact with the app while driving.

6. Reminders and notifications

Gymbound relies on iOS to deliver notifications, widgets, Live Activities and Apple Watch updates. Delivery can be affected by your device settings, Focus modes, Low Power Mode, notification permissions, time zone changes, software updates, connectivity and other factors outside our control. Brutal mode uses Time Sensitive notifications, which you must allow in iOS Settings. We work hard to make reminders reliable but do not guarantee that every reminder will be delivered or delivered on time, and we are not responsible for missed workouts, appointments or streaks.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Gymbound, including by attempting to interfere with its operation, bypass purchase or licensing checks, or use it in violation of any law.

8. Intellectual property

Gymbound, including its design, code, name, logo, icons, text and graphics, is owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding. Apple, iPhone, Apple Watch, iCloud and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.

9. Privacy

Gymbound does not collect personal data. Our Privacy Policy explains how information you enter is stored on your device and, optionally, in your own iCloud account.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gymbound is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data will never be lost. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Gymbound will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, streaks, or injury arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to Gymbound will not exceed the amount you paid for the app or in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Apple-specific terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the developer only, not Apple Inc. (“Apple”). Apple is not responsible for Gymbound or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, or intellectual property infringement claims. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Your rights under them end automatically if you fail to comply with them. You can stop using Gymbound at any time by deleting it from your devices (and cancelling any active subscription).

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect new features or legal requirements. We will post the updated Terms on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Gymbound after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
